Biobank Ethical Approval

INCLUSION & EXCLUSION CRITERIA

Inclusion

Patients with a clinical diagnosis of:

• Idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH)
• Heritable pulmonary arterial hypertension (HPAH)
• PAH associated with anorexigen exposure

Exclusion

Patients with a known underlying cause of pulmonary arterial hypertension, including:

• chronic thromboembolic disease
• congenital heart disease
• connective tissue disease
• HIV
• liver cirrhosis
• left heart disease
• chronic lung disease

Shipping

Samples should be labelled with a PAH ICON identifier before shipment.

Samples should be shipped to a central location.
